A: My name is Vu Anh Kiet, I’m from Vietnam and I’m working at Nhan dan Gia Dinh Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. I’study PhD degree in Epidemiology Department, Faculty of Medicine. Because I study public health from my bachelor’s degree in Vietnam as well as master’s degree in Australia, so I understand that epidemiology is very essential for illness science and public. My research topic is effectiveness of consultation through social media application to improve compliance follow-up tests following an artificial intelligent as first reader of chest X-ray for lung cancer screening in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
A: I planned to study post graduate before I reach 35 years old, and when I searched PSU having all I need: international education environment, famous lecturers, acceptable living cost. Moreover, Epidemiology Department, Faculty of Medicine is one of the WHO collaborating centers for epidemiology training. During the time of studying in here, I believe I decision is correct
A: After finished my Doctoral Degree, I will come back to my hometown (Vietnam) to continue my work as researcher and research manager of my hospital, then I will help my colleagues to make better research projects. I hope that research will help the governments to make better strategies to create a better healthcare service system for our people.
A: I think TUYF Scholarship has important contribution for my decision to choose to study in PSU. In addition, TUYF Scholarship provide most necessary item for my study including: tuition fee, living cost, research budget, … so that I can concentrate more to my study.
